This Shipdex Viewer 4.0 is showcasing a proof of concept (PoC) that highlights the integration of maintenance data in two formats: Shipdex-D for maintenance plans (from manufacturers) and Shipdex-F for maintenance in-service data feedback (from various ship-owners and ships)

To run the PoC, you’ll need to follow these steps:

  1. Run the Shipdex Viewer: Start the Viewer application.
  2. Select the Demo Dataset: Choose the MAN demo dataset (R1594#MDT_DEMO_001#VBS1080ODF#1-2).
  3. Expand the Maintenance Procedure: Look for and expand “Infoset_Maintenance_Procedure” and then “MD21VBS1080ODF-AAAA.”
  4. View the Maintenance Tasks: You will see a list of tasks. The first four will have a yellow sign, indicating they have feedback from different ship owners or ships.
  5. Use Shipdex-F for Feedback: Navigate through the feedback by selecting the “Shipdex-F” menu item.

This is just a simple evidence on what Shipdex-D and Shipdex-F can do working together. For any question contact team@shipdex.org
