The Shipdex steering committee (SPSC) and the Shipdex maintenance group (SPMG) met on 8th and 9th February 2017 in Limassol at Mastermind Shipmanagement premises.
The most important topics the SPSC discussed are:
- current Shipdex chairman and Shipdex technical manager were confirmed in their position
- discussion about the new Shipdex agreement 2.0 to be signed soon
- discussion about BIMCO as new Shipdex executive member
- Agreement on the new Shipdex organization that will be composed of:
- Honorary members (the original founder members)
- Executive members (current members of Shipdex steering committe)
The most important topics the SPMG discussed are:
- Change Proposal issued by Winterthur Gas & Diesel
- Change Proposal issued by MAN Diesel & Turbo
- discussion about the new Shipdex 3.1 issue to be published soon including:
- the Publication Module
- Comments management
- proposal to develop a new Shipdex specification to manage the “data feedback from the field”. This new specification will be called Shipdex Feedback and will be based on the ASD-AIA S5000F specification.
