aQuafleet360 has announced a strategic collaboration with Shipdex aimed at accelerating the adoption of standardized technical data across the maritime sector. As part of this partnership, aQuafleet360 will embed Shipdex-compliant data standards into its fleet management platform, enabling efficient and seamless exchange of maintenance and operational data among shipowners, shipyards, and equipment manufacturers. This initiative is set to enhance data accuracy, streamline manual workflows, and strengthen predictive maintenance capabilities—empowering operators to improve vessel performance while minimizing downtime.

Our fleet management platform will be able to import equipment technical data (in Shipdex-D format) into our databases to create breakdown and maintenance plan for every product. Then, it will be possible to export maintenance task data feedback (in Shipdex-F format) to be merged with Shipdex-D technical data.

The free-of-charge Shipdex Viewer (on www.shipdex.org) shows an example of the above connection between technical information and day-by-day data feedback.

“Standardized data is fundamental to advancing the next phase of maritime digital transformation,” said an aQuafleet360 spokesperson. “By partnering with Shipdex, we enable our customers to leverage globally recognized standards to drive operational efficiency and innovation.”
